Hello.
There is my method of making lights in Tomix Cleaning Car:
This photo emphasizes this light  using camera overexposure at dark room:

Really, this light can be used  when Tomix car is placed at the head of the train.

Hello Rainer
I have a digital DCC. Therefore i connected LEDs to DCC decoder function outputs, which drives Cleaning car motor.  

For analog DC You can use stabilizing circuit or use undercarrying oscillation for constant shining even when it will stops.
